Park Free and Shop Local in Salem This Weekend

In an effort to encourage Salem residents to “Shop Local First” this holiday season, Mayor Kim Driscoll has announced that parking in Salem will be free in all City lots, garages, and meters from Thurday, November 26th through Sunday, November 29th.

“These are some of the busiest shopping days of the year,” said Mayor Driscoll. “Hopefully, by taking this step we can help inspire more Salem residents to come downtown and discover all the great retail shopping opportunities available at our independent businesses and shops.”
