Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady to Headline Salem State's Speaker Series
General Public tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 31 for the 7:30 p.m. presentation on May 7 and are expected to sell out quickly.

Salem State University’s long-running and popular speaker series will bring legendary New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to campus on May 7. Brady will appear onstage in conversation with well-known sports reporter Jim Gray at the university’s O’Keefe Sports Center.
Winner of four Super Bowls and named Super Bowl MVP three times, Thomas Edward Patrick (Tom) Brady is considered one of the superstars of the NFL and one of the finest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Known for his strong work ethic and his belief that it is his team—and not he—that wins championships, Tom Brady is respected across the NFL and is a fan favorite throughout New England. Named Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year in 2005, he credits the team for his win.
Award-winning reporter Gray has interviewed eight presidents and numerous international leaders, but is perhaps best known for his sports reporting. In 1984, he covered eight-year-old Tiger Woods’ first television interview, predicting his future greatness, and continues to report breaking news from the world of sports.
