Peabody Adds Moderna Coronavirus Vaccine Booster Clinic

The clinic will be for those 18 years old and older on Jan. 12 at the Council on Aging.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Health Department will be hosting a vaccination booster clinic with the Moderna half-dose booster on Jan. 12.

Doses will be available to anyone 18 years old or older at the Council on Aging at Central Street.

Pre-registration for an appointment time is required and can be done here. Those registering are reminded they must select the "Moderna" vaccine since that is the only one that will be available.

As of Monday, anyone entering a business or indoor public space in Peabody must wear a mask amid a spike in COVID cases.

The city's Board of Health reimposed the mask mandate during an emergency meeting last week and it took effect at midnight Sunday night.
