Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Lafayette Street
Medflight helicopter called in, according to reports.
SALEM, MA - A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at Lafayette Street and Rosedale Avenue shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to reports.
A landing zone for a Medflight helicopter was being set up at Salem Hospital for the victim.
The pedestrian was reported to be an 18-year-old woman with head and leg injuries.
