Police: $2,900 Credit Card Fraud Reported; Pushy Solicitor; Military ID Lost

Tuesday, May 19
At 4:18 p.m., pushy solicitor on Washington Street. Reporting party stated that a solicitor was in the building trying to get residents to give up personal information, and to switch electric companies. She did not know what company he was working for, and he would not provide an ID.
At 7:12 p.m., credit card fraud on Roslyn Street. Woman reported that there were four unauthorized charges on her credit card. She called the credit card company, and canceled the card. The amount charged was $2,900, the most notable charge was for a $2,200 refrigerator. The actual card was not stolen from her; she does not know how her personal information was obtained.

At 8:17 p.m., possible fight on Loring Avenue. Two parties involved in a verbal dispute over their friendship.
At 9:04 p.m., party pointed a gun at others on Highland Avenue. Party pointed what appeared to be a firearm out of a car window. Report taken.

At 5:32 a.m., vandalism to two vehicles on Leavitt Circle.
At 6:56 a.m., noise complaint on Essex Street. Loud leaf blower.
At 8:34 a.m., juvenile doesn’t want to go to school on Salem Street.
At 8:59 a.m., dispute with paving company on North Street.
At 11:05 a.m., dispute on Pleasant Street. Two men yelling in the street.
At 12:52 p.m., motor vehicle accident on Proctor Street. No citations. No tows.
At 12:54 p.m., lost military ID reported at the station. Party does not know where she lost the military ID.
