Proposed Memorial at Proctor's Ledge Subject of Public Meeting

The meeting will take place on March 1 at 6 p.m.

SALEM, MA - The City of Salem will hold a public meeting to collect feedback and input as it begins the design and planning for a proposed memorial on Proctor’s Ledge.

The meeting will be guided by Martha Lyon, the landscape architect selected for the project, and will take place on March 1, 6:00 p.m., in the third floor conference room at City Hall Annex, 120 Washington Street, Salem.

Those unable to attend the meeting can provide feedback and comments for consideration by submitting them to planning@salem.com.

Proctor’s Ledge was identified as the spot where 19 accused witches were hanged over 300 years ago during the Salem Witch Trials by a group of scholars earlier this year.
