ResilientCoasts Initiative To Be Talk Of Marblehead's Library Lecture
The Salem Coast Watch initiative looks at how increasingly strong storms are damaging the coastline and what can be done about it.

SALEM, MA — A new ResilientCoasts initiative dealing with the effects of strengthening storms on the coastline of the North Shore will be the subject of the Underwater in Salem Sound lecture at Marblehead's Eveleth School library location this month.
The free lecture will run from 6:45 to 8 p.m. on March 20 at the library's temporary home during Abbot Library renovations.
Salem Sound Coast Watch Executive Director Barbara Warren will provide updates on how the Commonwealth and Salem Sound communities are grappling with the increased storm threats. She will also share information on the progress of several local resilience-building projects and some challenges to be overcome.
