Rotary Club of Peabody To Offer 3 Scholarships To Graduating Seniors
The deadline for applying for all three scholarships is April 1.
PEABODY, MA — Graduating Peabody high school seniors are encouraged to apply for one of three scholarships being offered through The Rotary Club of Peabody this academic year.
Peabody residents are eligible no matter which high school they graduate from with an application deadline of April 1.
The Club believes supporting Peabody's youth in their continuing endeavors is one of the best investments that can be made in the city’s future and funnels a significant portion of raised funds
to these scholarships.

The scholarships offered are:
1. The "Service Above Self" Scholarship, awarded to those who exemplify the Rotary Motto of "Service above Self"

2. The Career and Technical Education Scholarship, awarded to students pursuing a trade after graduation; please note, priority will be given to those attending trade programs, 2-year schools or using the funds for tools/equipment
3. The Sam Berns Scholarship, awarded to students who have overcome obstacles and otherwise exemplify the qualities Sam practiced daily.

This program is funded by The Rotary Club of Peabody's fundraising efforts, most notably the annual Taste of the North Shore. All donations, participants and sponsors help make these scholarship opportunities possible.
