Salem 11 year olds win 1st ever District title for Salem Baseball!!! Salem Senior Softball wins District 16 title as well!

The Salem 11 year old All-star team won Salem their first ever District 16 baseball title last night!!!!

Salem defeated the Saugus American team 8-5 in extra innings. 

Salem now moves on to the Sectionals next week, starting on July 16th at 7:30 PM against Danvers American, at the Benevento Complex in North Reading, weather permitting.

In addition to Salem's first baseball district title, the Salem Senior Softball team won the District 16 Senior Softball title last night, defeating Peabody 6-2 at Mack Park.  They move on to the Sectionals, with Salem hosting the opening games at Mack Park in Salem on Saturday the 12th at 5:30.

Congrats to both teams and we look forward to more success in the Sectionals!
