Salem Academy Charter School Hires New Principal
Sabrina Williams will be the new Lower School Principal for grades 6-8, beginning July 1.

SALEM, MA — Salem Academy Charter School will welcome a new principal in July when Sabrina Williams becomes the principal of grades 6 through 8 Lower School.
The school said Williams "rose at the top candidate above a highly qualified group of educators" following an extensive search and interview process. She has spent more than a decade in leadership positions in middle and high school charter schools in New York.
"We are thrilled to welcome Sabrina Williams as our new Lower School Principal," said Stephanie Callahan, Executive Director. "Her dedication to academic excellence, coupled with her strategic approach to systems and culture, will undoubtedly enhance our Lower School programs and inspire our students to reach their fullest potential.

"We are confident that Ms. Williams's leadership will further strengthen our commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students."
She holds a Master's in Education in English Education from Florida A&M.

"I am elated to be joining the SACS Leadership Team as Lower School Principal," she said. "The diversity of both the student population and the city Salem is similar to that of my hometown of Brooklyn, New York and one I am excited to fully immerse myself in.
"As the mom of a recent college graduate, I look forward to supporting students, teachers and families in cultivating the whole child and continuing to build on the rich legacy of SACS' college preparatory program."
