Salem Bluebikes Free On Tuesday For World Mental Health Day
Blue Cross is sponsoring complimentary passes for free two-hour rides in Greater Boston Bluebike communities.

SALEM, MA — Riders in Salem and 12 other Greater Boston Bluebike communities are invited to take a free ride on Tuesday in honor of World Mental Health Day.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is sponsoring the program for the 13 cities and towns with the Bluebike bicycle sharing program with complimentary passes for unlimited two-hour rides throughout the day.
Riders can access the free pass through the Bluebikes app using the code BLUECROSSMENTALHEALTH.

Bluebikes are available in Salem, along with Arlington, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Newton, Revere Somerville and Watertown. Blue Cross is the sponsor of Bluebikes, which is owned by the municipalities and operated by Lyft.
"The positive impacts of outdoor exercise can be profound," Jeff Bellows, vice president of corporate citizenship and public affairs at Blue Cross, "so we're proud to bring forward yet another mental health incentive via our Bluebikes partnership and we hope Metro Boston residents will enjoy the benefits of a free ride on World Mental Health Day."
