Salem Chanukah Menorah Lighting Scheduled For Saturday
This event is free and open to the public on December 16.
From City of Salem: Please join Mayor Kimberley Driscoll and Rabbi Yossi Lipsker from Chabad of the North Shore to light the Chanukah Menorah at Lappin Park (corner of Essex and Washington Streets) at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 16th.
Traditional holiday latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) will be served after the candle lighting. This event is free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather the Salem Menorah Lighting will be held in the lobby of the City Hall Annex building at 120 Washington Street.
