Salem Declares Snow Emergency Parking Ban Tuesday Night
After more than 3 feet of snow has draped the town in recent weeks, the parking ban is in effect with up to 4 inches possible on Tuesday.
SALEM, MA — Salem residents will once again have to move their vehicles from public town
streets on Tuesday night, with predictions of 2 to 4 inches expected as part of the latest storm.
The parking ban will go into effect at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
The declaration comes on the heels of two major snowstorms in recent weeks that have left streets narrowed with little place to put additional snow.

The Museum Place Garage & South Harbor Garage snow rates went into effect at 4 p.m.
Those who were in the garages before this time will be charged the regular hourly rate.

This ban will remain in effect until all winter operations related to the coming storm are completed.
