Salem Distributing More COVID-19 Tests To Cover Holiday Season
Salem residents and those who work in the city can get up to five boxes of the at-home rapid tests ahead of holiday gatherings.

SALEM, MA — Salem residents and those who work in the city are encouraged to pick up additional COVID-19 at-home rapid tests ahead of holiday gatherings and celebrations.
The city has made more of the antigen tests available with those eligible now able to get five boxes of tests — two tests per box — from the health department offices on the third floor at 98 Washington Street. Tests are available Mondays through Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. while supplies last.
Salem also has a larger allotment of tests available to organizations looking to use the for holiday events and other activities. Organizations should contact health@salem.com to make arrangements for these tests.

The mobile Curative PCR testing site will also remain open at Rile Plaza through 1 p.m. on Dec. 31, when it is set to close permanently.
