Salem Scholarship Fund Applications Available

The scholarships are funded through residents donations and available to Salem students who plan to enroll in college next year.

SALEM, MA — Salem students graduating from Salem High School, Salem Academy Charter School, and other area high schools, are eligible for the city's Scholarship Fund awards generated through resident donations.

Applications for students entering college next year are now available here. For the first time this year, the one-page application can be submitted electronically.

Applications are due by May 31 whether submitted electronically or through a hard copy.

In its 34th year, the Salem Scholarship Fund gives back to graduating seniors entering college through voluntary resident donations made through their tax bills. Donations to the fund are also accepted here.

The Scholarship and Education Committee oversees the Scholarship Fund and the Education Fund, which provides supplemental funding for local educational needs.
