Salem Electrifying (Car) Event Planned For This Weekend

SALEM, MA — As the world goes electric to help mitigate climate change Salem is bringing together more than 20 local electric vehicle dealerships as part of a "Salem Kicks Gas" event that will also showcase electric bicycles, scooters and battery-powered lawn equipment.

Those attending can check several models of vehicles as well as go on test drives of some of them.

The event is set for Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Salem High School on Willson Street.
