Salem Gunfire On Horton Street Sends Man To Hospital: Police
Salem police said the Monday morning shooting "does not appear to be a random act."

SALEM, MA — A man was hospitalized Monday morning after being hit with gunfire on Horton Street in Salem, police said.
Salem police said the report of gunshots came shortly before 8 a.m. One man was taken to the hospital with what police said was a non-life-threatening wound.
"This does not appear to be a random act and we do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public," police said Monday morning.

Police said the shooting investigation was in its initial stages Monday morning and asked the public to stay clear of the area.
