Salem High School Principal Stepping Down
Principal David J. Angeramo will become Associate Head of School at St. Mary's in Lynn.

SALEM, MA -- To say that David J. Angeramo is a fixture at Salem High School is an understatement. While he has been principal for the past 12 years, his tenure goes back much further, all the way to the late 1980's, when he was a student at Salem High School. He graduated in 1990 and began his teaching career in the math department, where he worked for 12 years before become principal.
Now Angeramo is leaving Salem High School. In a letter to parents Monday, he announced he would step down at the end of the school year to become Associate Head of School at St. Mary's in Lynn. It's a bigger role for Angeramo, where he will oversee academics for students in grades 6-12 and be involved in a STEM building construction project.
