Salem To Host Electronic, Styrofoam Recycling Days This Weekend
Trash, recycling and yard waste will be picked up on the normal collection day the week of June 19 despite the Juneteenth holiday on Monday.
SALEM, MA — Salem residents will have chances to recycle old electronics and styrofoam in the coming weeks, along with normal recycling, trash and yard waste pickup for next week.
The city is advising residents that there will be no delay in pickup for the week beginning on June 19 despite the Juneteenth holiday. This is a yard waste collection week as well.
Salem residents may also drop off yard waste at the Salem Transfer Station at 12 Swampscott Road on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents can call Waste Management at 800-972-4545 to report any missed pickups.
