Salem Inauguration To Be Held With Limited Seating

Each official is allowed two guests for the Jan. 3 inauguration with the public invited to watch on Salem Access TV or online.

SALEM, MA — Mayor Kim Driscoll will be sworn in for her fifth term — with other newly elected city officeholders taking their posts as well — when Salem holds is 2022 Inauguration on Jan. 3.

The event will be held with limited attendance at the Community Life Center on Bridge Street at 10 a.m.

Each official is allowed two invitees to watch the proceedings in person with elected officials and staff. Salem residents are encouraged to watch the event online or on Salem AccessTelevision Channel 22.

There is no public participation at this organizational meeting.

The event will also be livestreamed on Salem's city Facebook page on and the Salem Access Television YouTube page.
