Salem Looking Forward to a Soulful Party This Weekend
The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival returns to Salem Willows this weekend.

The infectious and upbeat sounds of soul and jazz return to the Salem Willows this weekend.
The annual Salem Jazz and Soul Festival is offering a two-day lineup on Saturday and Sunday of local, national, and internationally renown musicians.
In addition to music on the main stage, there will also be a DJ playing between sets and the Salem Five Music Education tent.

The main stage schedule for Saturday includes:
- 11 a.m. – noon Salem High School Jazz Band
- 12:30p.m. – 1:30 p.m. The Interlopers
- 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Lydia Harrell
- 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Krewe De Groove
- 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Nephrok! Allstars

- 11 a.m. – noon Ipswich High School Jazz Ensemble
- 12:30pm. – 1:30 p.m. North Shore Jazz Project All Stars
- 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Gringo Kings
- 3:30p.m. – 5 p.m. Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers
- 5:30 p.m.- 7 p.m. Barrence Whitfeld and the Grits & Groceries Orchestra
The music will continue throughout the night, with a number of local clubs and restaurants in Salem and Beverly featuring a full slate of jazz and soul performers.
The annual event helps support music education on the North Shore.
