Salem Man Accused Of Exposing Himself To Girl At Family Dollar: Police

Salem police are seeking to hear from anyone who may have been a victim of a similar violation in the city.

SALEM, MA — A Salem man accused of exposing himself to a girl at the Family Dollar on Canal Street, and then making physical contact with the girl's mother, last week was charged with open and gross lewdness and indecent assault and battery in Salem District Court on Wednesday, according to Salem police.

Police said they responded to the store at about 4 p.m. on June 1 with the victims saying that a man had exposed his genitals to the juvenile girl before making physical contact with her mother.

Police said they were unable to locate the suspect at the time but that during an investigation were able to identify James Miglionico, of Salem, as a suspect, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

He was arrested and charged on Monday and arraigned on the charges Tuesday, police said.
