SALEM, MA — A Salem man is facing charges after police said items stolen from a Shell gas station smash-and-grab were found during a warrant search of his Appleton Street apartment on Tuesday.

Police said they responded to an alarm at the gas station on North Street early Monday morning and arrived to find the front window of the station had been smashed with the safe left open and items in disarray inside the store.

Police said an investigation led to a search warrant for the home of Daiquan Parisse, 30, where items were found "related to the break to the Shell Gas Station as well as a separate break on School Street."
