Salem Man Falls To His Death On Pope Street
Police said the 22-year-old was found at the base of construction scaffolding on Pope Street Monday morning. No foul play is suspected.
SALEM, MA — A Salem man found dead near construction scaffolding on Pope Street Monday morning was apparently killed from a fall.
Police said no foul is suspected in the man's death.
Police, fire and EMS crews responded to a man found unresponsive near some construction equipment at the Salem Heights Apartments on Pope Street at about 7:20 a.m. Monday.

Police said the victim, 22-year-old Thomas Nunez-Veras, of Pope Street, had "injuries consistent from a fall from a great height" and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
