Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo To Host State Of City Address

The event will be held at Salem City Hall on New Year's Day.

SALEM, MA — First-term Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo will host his first State of the City address on New Year's Day.

Pangallo, who was elected in this past May's special election to serve out the final three years of former mayor and current Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll's four-year term, is inviting the public to join him for the address at 10 a.m. on Jan. 1 at 93 Washington Street.

The address will also be shown on Salem Access Television.

"In the year ahead we have challenges to overcome, problems to solve, and work to get done," Pangallo said in announcing the address date and location on Thursday. "Despite that, though, I'm more hopeful than ever about Salem's future."
