A Bed for Every Child has delivered over 3,600 beds to children living in poverty. New campaign aims to deliver 250 more beds by Xmas.

Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll gave a shout out to A Bed for Every Child by joining its social media campaign to raise funds to buy 250 beds for 250 kids by Christmas. Mayor Driscoll took a photo with the initiative’s cuddly teddy bear as part of A Bed for Every Child’s #sharethebear campaign.

“We are so grateful that Mayor Driscoll joined our supporters who are helping raise funds to buy 250 beds for 250 kids by Christmas. One in seven children in Massachusetts is growing up in poverty and having a bed to sleep in this holiday season will be a dream come true,” says Robyn Frost, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
