Cocaine, Fentanyl, $30K Seized In Salem, Peabody Drug Bust: Police

Salem police said Peabody detectives assisted in the Traders Way bust that led to drug trafficking charges against a Salem man.

SALEM, MA — A Salem drug bust last week included the seizure of nearly 700 grams of cocaine and fentanyl and more than $30,000, according to Salem police.

Salem police said on Wednesday that Salem and Peabody detectives executed a search warrant at an apartment on Traders Way and seized 624 grams of cocaine, 64 grams of fentanyl, nine grams of crack cocaine and three grams of methamphetamine, along with the cash.

The resident of the apartment, Dewin Manual Diaz, 30, was charged with heroin trafficking, cocaine trafficking and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
