Salem Point Neighborhood Fiesta En La Calle Celebration Back For 2023

The art, food and music block party will celebrate the Point neighborhood and the culture of its residents.

SALEM, MA — A block party celebration of arts, food and music in the Point neighborhood of Salem is returning this fall.

The North Shore Community Development Coalition and the Punto Urban Art Museum will present Fiesta en la Calle from 2 to 6 p.m. on Peabody Street on Sept. 30.

The event is designed as a showcase of local artists, businesses and community members and includes an artist wall and a platform for local businesses and artists to share their work.

Michelle la Poetica is the emcee and host, and the "Nueva Generación Típica" band The Millenials is the headliner, with Point Neighborhood Association President Lucy Corchado among the speakers.

The free event also includes a children's activity section and a beer tent.
