Salem Police To Host Cookout With A Cop Featuring Resource Dog Derby

SALEM, MA — Salem families are invited to stop by and say hi to a neighborhood police officer — while also getting the chance to meet the community resource dog Derby — during the upcoming "Cookout With A Cop."

The event will be held on July 2 from noon to 3 p.m. at On-Point located at 50 Leavitt Street.

The free, family-friendly event will include food, games and fun, and of course, the Witch City's favorite little Golden Retriever.
