Salem Police To Host 'It Starts With Me' Turkey Drive

Police will collect turkeys and other Thanksgiving holiday food items at the station on Margin Street Sunday afternoon.

SALEM, MA — Salem police are looking to fill the cruisers with Thanksgiving meal donations for less-fortunate city residents on Sunday.

Police will host the "It Starts With Me Turkey Drive" for the 14th year from 5 to 6:30 p.m at the police station on Margin Street.

Among the items of specific need this year are squash, butter, boxed desserts, juice, turkey tin roasting pans, coffee, soup, cereal, tuna fish, canned chicken, fruit cups, peanut butter and pasta.
