Thefts Reported at Salem Planet Fitness

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 

Sunday, Jan. 26: 

• At 5:25 p.m., a woman called police to report that her belongings were stolen from an unlocked locker at the YMCA on Leggs Hill Road.
• At 6:46 p.m., a woman called police to report that her ring was stolen while she was performing at Murphy's Bar & Restaurant.
• At 8:24 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Lynch Street.
• At 10:28 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Orne Street. Nicole A. Bingham, 33, of 72 Orne St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery.

Monday, Jan. 27: 

• At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Garden Terrace.
• At 12:19 a.m., a man called police to report that his gym bag was stolen from an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness.
• At 12:54 a.m., a man called police to report that his iPod was stolen from an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness. 
• At 6:29 a.m., a man called police to report that his cell phone was stolen from an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness.
• At 8:25 a.m., a woman on Pope Street called police to report that it appears as though someone poured sugar into her gas tank.
• At 11:06 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rainbow Terrace.
• At 1:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a shoplifter at the Walgreens on New Derby Street. Carla P. Alves, 39, of 61 Dunlap St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise by concealment, third offense.
• At 1:51 p.m., police made an arrest on Highland Avenue. Doreen Susannop-Moody, 46, of 8 Suffolk St., Lynn, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
• At 3:09 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on North Street.
• At 3:23 p.m., police responded to a report of two men with a handgun on Salem Street. Two people will be summonsed to court on a charge of illegal possession of a BB gun. 

Other Arrest

Enrique Pepen, 30, of 12 Pope St., Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
