Salem Possible Child Abduction Attempt Investigated: Police​

SALEM, MA — Salem police confirmed Saturday night that they are looking for a car suspected in the possible abduction attempt of children in the Witchcraft Heights school district area on Friday.

Police said they are "endeavoring to find the Blue Honda Pilot" described in a bulletin alerting residents of an attempt to lure children to get into a vehicle in the Witchcraft Heights area after school on Thursday afternoon.

According to the bulletin, a blue Honda Pilot pulled up to three children and told them to "get into the car because your Mom said so." The children walked away without interacting with the vehicle.

The bulletin said the vehicle had a male driver and a female passenger, both of Asian descent.
