Salem Schools To Host Virtual Early Childhood Expo

The online session will provide information on children age-eligible for the district's preschool, pre-K and kindergarten programs.

SALEM, MA — Salem Public Schools is looking to engage more families about the educational opportunities for some of its youngest students with a virtual Early Childhood Expo Town Hall.

The online session will provide information on children who are age-eligible for preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten.

Children must be 3, 4 or 5 years old by Aug. 31 to be eligible for the respective programs.

The Town Hall will be on Zoom from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 19 and will be recorded and available for viewing during the following week.

The Town Hall is designed for families to learn more about the early learning experiences available in the district, virtually meet a panel of district leaders and school principals, and engage in a question-and-answer session.
