Salem Seeks Artists' Row Tenants, Artists-In-Residence For 2025, 2026

SALEM, MA — Those looking for an opportunity to showcase or sell items at Salem's downtown Artists' Row, as well as candidates for the seasonal artist-in-residence, are encouraged to apply for current openings at the unique urban space.

The city is looking for three tenants to fill two-year studio/retail vacancies from January 2025 through December 2026, as well as one artist-in-residence position from May 2025 to December 2025, and a second from May 2026 to December 2026.

The Artists' Row initiative is a seasonal program on Derby Street that provides space for artists and artisans looking to build their audience/business through daily engagement with residents and visitors.

The city of Salem aims to highlight and celebrate the diverse life experiences and unique heritages, attributes, characteristics, and perspectives that make each person who they are, while providing a springboard opportunity for creatives.
