Salem Seeks School Parent/Guardian Advisory Committee Candidates
The committee is designed to provide feedback on district initiatives and bolster communication within the school community.

SALEM, MA — Salem Public Schools is looking to add more parental and guardian voices to its decision-making and review process.
The School Committee and Superintendent Steve Zrike's office are looking for applicants willing to serve on the Parent/Guardian Advisory Committee. The committee is charged with providing the superintendent and School Committee feedback on district initiatives as well as improving communication among Salem Public Schools community members.
Those interested can fill out an application questionnaire as the district looks to assemble groups of between 15 and 20 parents and guardians from each school representing a range of grade levels.

"In keeping with the district's mission to promote equity and inclusion, our goal is to assemble a committee reflective of our district’s diverse population," Zrike said.
