Salem State Police Seek Help On Latest Stolen Bike Situation

Police are looking to identify a man who may be involved in the theft of a red bicycle and other suspicious behavior.

SALEM, MA — Salem State University police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who may be responsible for a stolen bike and "other suspicious behavior" near campus.

Police said the suspect shown in the photos above may frequently ride the #455 bus and use rented bicycles in the city.

Police said he may still be in possession and utilizing the red bicycle — which was reported stolen.

This is the second time in less than three weeks that campus police had alerted the public to bike thefts and sought help identifying a suspect.
