Salem Students Earn Honors At Emmanuel, Emerson, Hartford

These Salem students were among those earning academic or athletic distinction.

SALEM, MA — Rachel Lamarre, a native of Salem, has been named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Fall 2020 semester.

Lamarre is majoring in Public Relations and is a member of the Class of 2022. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Etiendem Okerie, of Salem, has been named to MassBay Community College Dean's List. Etiendem Okerie, who studies general studies, achieved this outstanding academic honor for the fall 2020 semester.

To be eligible for the MassBay Dean's List, students must complete six college-level credits and earn a grade point average of 3.50 or higher. The fall 2020 semester Dean's List includes 1,033 full- and part-time student

The University of Hartford announced Quinton Dooley, of Salem, has been named to its President's Honors List for Fall 2020.

The President's Honors List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester. This is the GPA that must be sustained over a full undergraduate career to qualify for a degree summa cum laude.

Emmanuel College named Aiyana Lilly of Salem to the Dean's List for the Fall 2020 semester.

To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.
