Salem Students Honored At Champlain, Emerson, Emmanuel, Tufts

SALEM, MA — These Salem students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

The following students were named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester.

The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Lily Brown is majoring in Journalism and is a member of the Class of 2025.

Rachel Lamarre is majoring in Public Relations and is a member of the Class of 2022.

Tufts University student Owen Denby, class of 2025, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester.

Denby is one of more than 4,000 students named to Dean's List at Tufts University. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or greater for the semester.

Sarah Thompson was named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at the University of Maryland Global Campus.

To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Noah Anderson was named to a Champlain College Trustees' List for the spring 2022 semester.

Students are awarded honors based on their academic achievement. The Trustee's List is awarded for achieving a 4.0-grade point average for two consecutive semester

Anderson also graduated from Champlain this past spring.

Anderson was one of 587 students who completed their degree requirements and received their diplomas at this time. Anderson completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Innovation.

In recognition of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College in Boston has named nearly 800 students to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Salem students honored were Alex L'heureux and Lillian Malionek.
