Salem Students Honored At Champlain, Husson, Springfield, Tampa

SALEM, MA — These Salem students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges and universities across the nation.

Salem resident Lindsey Ruth Russell was named to Husson University's President's List for the Fall 2021 semester.

During the fall semester, Russell was enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Students who make the President's List must be enrolled as an undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.80 to 4.0-semester grade-point average. Credits from pass/fail classes do not qualify toward meeting the minimum credit hour requirement.

Noah Anderson was named to the Champlain College Trustees' List for the Fall 2021 semester.

Students on the Trustees' List have achieved a 4.0-grade point average for two or more consecutive semesters. Anderson is currently enrolled in the Computer Science and Innovation major.

Hannah DeFranco earned Dean's List honors at The University of Tampa for the Fall 2021 semester. DeFranco is majoring in Psychology BA. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Julia A Valerio has been named to Dean's List at Springfield Technical Community College, which is published each semester to recognize excellence in academic performance. To be considered, degree-seeking students must earn 12 or more college-level credits in the current semester, or a total of 12 or more combined college-level credits earned during the fall and spring semesters, and achieve a 3.3 or above grade point average.
