Salem Students Honored At Colgate, Ithaca, SNHU, UNH, Vermont

These Salem students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction.

SALEM, MA — These Salem students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

The following Salem students recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, at Salem State University:

Ashley Hames, Amanda Jimenez, Amber Palmer, Allison Smith, Chloe Kollman-Veit, Hannah Levine, Jazmin Marquez, Justin Snow, Michael Mahin, Michael Davis, Sarah Eshelman, Sarah Wilson, Nicole Veno and Ryan Kanoff.

Averill McCorkle, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2025, earned the fall 2021 Dean's Award with Distinction.

McCorkle is a Psychology major and a graduate of The Governor's Academy.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses during the Fall 2021 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.

Charlotte Povey graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a BM in Performance.

Natalie Delgado graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Anthropology + Sociology in May as part of the class of 2022 at Roger Williams University.

Delgado also earned a place on the Dean’s List in her final semester.

The University of Hartford said Quinton Dooley and Noah Thomas were named to the President's Honors List and the Dean's List for Spring 2022.

Rachel Brosnan graduated from Emmanuel College on May 14 during the College's 100th Commencement Exercises on its campus in Boston. Brosnan received a Bachelor of Science in Biology during the ceremony. Brosnan graduated with distinction in the field of study.

Megan Curley was named to the Lasell University Dean's List for their academic performance in the spring 2022 semester.

To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester at the University of Vermont:

Sara Eddy, an Ecological Agriculture major, is in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Amy Nguyen, an Early Childhood Preschool major, is in the College of Education and Social Services.

To be named to the Dean's List, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham on Friday, May 20, May 21 and May 22: Victoria Kapantais, Melissa Bowden and Ashley McCoy.

Southern New Hampshire University's winter 2022 President's List included: Michael Longfritz, Teceder McDaniels, Lauren Ward, Girard Martin, Sydney Maciak and Sean Cullen.

Anthony Leone was named to the SNHU winter 2022 Dean's List.

Kahlil Mitchell-Smith was named to the 2022 spring semester Dean's List at Ohio Wesleyan University.

To earn Dean's List recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.
