SALEM, MA — These Salem students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.
Eastern Connecticut State University released its Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester, in which more than 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs. Among the students on the list were: Danna Guerrero, a junior who majors in Business Administration, and Yosselin Guerrero Badillo a sophomore who majors in Computer Science.
Guerrero was also one of more than 100 first-generation students from Eastern Connecticut State
University were inducted into the Tri Alpha National Honor Society on Nov. 8, recognizing their academic achievements despite the challenges of being the first in their families to attend college.

Alexis Sherry and the Regis College women's soccer team advanced to the GNAC quarterfinals before falling to top-seeded Johnson & Wales. Regis posted a 10-8-4 record, its fourth straight winning season and the seventh time since 2012 that the Pride have won 10 or more matches in a single season.
Sherry is a graduate of Austin Prep and is majoring in Psychology at Regis College.

Austin Medico was named to the fall 2024 Dean's List at Roger Williams University.
Salem students who earned President's List honors at Southern New Hampshire University with a GPA of 3.7 or higher during the fall semester were Nelio DosSantos, Zachary Banks, Isabela Mesa, Javeneh Mikhak, Christian Silva, William Hanger and Sylvia Louf.
Salem students who earned SNHU fall Dean's List honors with a GPA of 3.5 to 3.699 were Vicky Malvitch, Jared Teel and Witold Matczak.
Salem students who earned SNHU summer President's List honors were Shellby Falco, Corissa Cunningham, Banks, Matczak, Steven Leahy and Shakira Garcia.
Kacey Feeley was named to the SNHU summer Dean's List.
Curry College students named to the fall Dean's List at Curry College included Ella Hayward, Hailey Morneau and Izzy Santana.
The College of the Holy Cross welcomed Elizabeth Swanson as a member of the College's Class of 2028.
Julia Ofilos enrolled at James Madison University for the fall 2024 semester. Ofilos is majoring in Health Sciences - BS.
Jillian Sholds earned a BA in Business Creative Enterprises at Emerson College.
Salem students named to Clark University's spring 2024 Dean's List were Nicole Delos Reyes, first honors, and Wes Thornett, first honors.
Lenin Anutebeh, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed a professional-level research-driven project titled Improving Positive Well-Being in Affordable Housing.
Angie Pavetti, a Lasell University student, was named to the Dean's List for their academic performance in the fall 2024 semester.
Lindsey Russell was named to Husson University's President's List for the Spring 2024 semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Russell is studying toward a degree in BS Exercise Science - Doctor of Physical Therapy at Husson.
Kirsten New was named to the Dean's List for the summer 2024 term at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Rebecca Dalphin was elected to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College.
Phi Beta Kappa, which established a chapter at Hamilton in 1870, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country. Students are elected to membership in recognition of their exceptional academic achievement in fulfilling the goals and purposes of the college.
Dalphin, a senior majoring in physics, is a graduate of Lexington High School.
