Salem Students Honored At Hartford, Regis, SNHU, UNH, Vermont, WPI

SALEM, MA — These Salem students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

The following Salem students have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2022 semester:

Anna Cantone, earning honors, Courtney Kostopoulos, earning honors, Amanda Flynn, earning highest honors, Gabriella Fabiszewski, high honors, Marie McCarthy, earning high honors, Becaye Gueye, earning highest honors, Ceili Flot, earning honors, Cordelia Burbank, earning highest honors.

Southern New Hampshire University named students to the fall 2022 President's List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

The Salem students earning the President's List honor were Matthew St. Pierre, Jessica Angell, Lindsay Moreta, Nikki Whittaker-Velasquez and James Hurst.

Full-time SNHU undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List.

Salem students earning the Dean's List honor were Mena Lothi, Jessica Bing and Matthew Lonergan.

Kate Henning was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester at the University of Vermont. Henning is majoring in Business Administration.

To be named to the Dean's List, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

A total of 2,069 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for Worcester Polytechnic Institute's fall 2022 Dean's List. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

The following Salem, students were named to the Dean's List for fall 2022:

Jimmy Espinal, majoring in Architectural Engineering (BS), class of 2025

John Matthews, majoring in Interactive Media and Game Development (BA), class of 2026

Kaelin Panneton, majoring in Computer Science (BS), class of 2023

Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester, in which nearly 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs. Among them is full-time student Danna Guerrero, who majors in Business Administration.

To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Regis College announced its fall 2022 Dean's List of students in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Regis sophomores, juniors, seniors, and professional studies students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher; first-year students must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Kimberly Ciccolini, Lindsey Marino and Alexia Palm of Salem made the Regis Dean's List.

The University of Hartford named Quinton Dooley and Noah Thomas to its fall 2022 Dean's List.

Salem's Maximilian Fitch was named to Western New England University's Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester.
