Salem Taking Care Of Business With Revamped Support Guide
The "Doing Business In Salem" guide helps business owners with the permit process, municipal contacts and support services available.

SALEM, MA — Salem is looking to make it a bit easier to launch and sustain a business in the Witch City with a revamped "Doing Business in Salem" guide.
The guide has gone through several changes since it was first issued in 2009 with the latest version including information on navigating the local permitting process, live links to resources, municipal contacts and other business support available.
"Owning a business is an exciting venture filled with challenges," Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo said in announcing the relaunch. "This guide offers existing and prospective entrepreneurs a well-organized and streamlined handbook in which to navigate them.
