Salem Veterans Day Event To Include Monument Dedication
The event - which residents are invited to attend - is at the dedication of the Lt. Catherine Larkin monument dedication on Nov. 11.
SALEM, MA — Salem will dedicate a new monument in honor of U.S. Army Nurse Corps 1st Lieutenant Catherine Larkin as part of its Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 11.
The public is invited to this year's ceremony, which will be at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the intersection of Larkin Lane and Memorial Drive, the site of the monument.
Public health nurse professor and U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps advocate Dr. Barbara Poremba will be the guest speaker.

The event will be broadcast live on the city's Facebook page here and Salem Access TV for those who cannot attend.
