Salem Voters Back Biden, Trump In Super Tuesday Presidential Primary

Salem results largely mirrored state results with Trump besting Haley 58.5 percent to 37.6 percent.

SALEM, MA — President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump were the top preferences among Salem voters in Tuesday's Super Tuesday primary in results that largely mirrored the state margins.

In unofficial results, Biden won the Democratic vote with 4,182 votes. Finishing second was "No Preference" with 642 votes.

In the Republican primary, Trump received 1,639 votes with Haley second at 1,053 votes.

Voters also chose state party committee men and committee women, as well as ward committee representatives on Tuesday.
