Tina created The Good Witch of Salem drawing on her background as a classroom teacher and special educator. She created the character to encourage children’s self-love, self-awareness, confidence and kindness through storytelling and imaginative play.

Affirmation cards are one of the tools she uses to invite reflection and conversation with children and families.

Guests selected cards during the visit and explored the encouraging messages at the center of Tina's work. Her Salem business combines educational resources, retail and creative experiences designed to support social and emotional learning.

The Good Witch of Salem was founded in 2017, and Tina published her children's book in 2020.

The business is an educational and experiential retail shop. Its Spell Studio offers potion-making, hat and broom decorating, imaginative transformations, and celebrations for children and families.

Those activities are part of a broader effort to help children discover their individual strengths and share kindness with others.
