Police Searching for Car in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident: Salem police are still searching for the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run car accident on Loring Avenue. An 83-year-old Salem woman was killed. 

Sugar Rush Opening This Week on Essex Street: A new candy shop called Sugar Rush opened earlier this week on Essex Street in downtown Salem.

Shooting at Mack Park; One Male Taken to Hospital: There haven't been any recent developments regarding last weekend's shooting at Mack Park. A 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. 

Salem Police Catch MBTA Bike Thief in the Act: The dispatcher at the Salem police station was reportedly monitoring the surveillance camera in the MBTA station parking lot due to a high number of bike thefts in the area and noticed a suspicious man milling around the bike rack Tuesday. Responding officers reportedly watched as the man cut a bike lock with bolt cutters.

Police Plan to Charge Salem Woman in Route 1A Crash: The Salem woman that was behind the wheel of a car that crashed on Route 1A in Wenham Monday night will face charges, according to Wenham Police.
