Salem Police Catch MBTA Bike Thief in the Act: The dispatcher at the Salem police station was reportedly monitoring the surveillance camera in the MBTA station parking lot due to a high number of bike thefts in the area and noticed a suspicious man milling around the bike rack Tuesday. Responding officers reportedly watched as the man cut a bike lock with bolt cutters.
