School Canceled Monday in Salem
An emergency parking ban will also be in effect as of 9 a.m. in the city.
Salem, MA - Salem students are getting an extra long weekend.
With an impending storm expected to dump up to a foot of snow on the area beginning Monday morning, Salem Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 8.
Mayor Kim Driscoll announced that there will also be a snow emergency parking ban in effect as of 9 a.m. on Monday on all city streets, except the downtown zone, which starts at noon.
