Shooting Reported In Salem Near City Park
Update: A teen with a gunshot wound was reported Saturday on Palmer Street near Mary Jane Lee Park.
SALEM, MA — Police in Salem as well as fire and rescue teams were called to Palmer Street for a report of a teen who was shot. The shooting reportedly occurred in the area of Mary Jane Lee Park. According to a report on Twitter, a second ambulance was sent to the scene to assist the teen.
Boston Medflight has also been requested to the area to assist.
Another report on Twitter stated that the teen had a gunshot wound to the left chest and that he was conscious and alert.
