Superintendent, Salem Schools Reach Agreement On 3-Year Deal
The new deal runs through the end of the 2020-21 school year and includes up to 3% annual raises tied to performance.

SALEM, MA -- The Salem School Committee approved a new, three-year contract with Superintendent Margarita Ruiz Monday night. The approval was unanimous, with school committee member James Fleming not in attendance for the meeting. The contract is similar to the contract Ruiz had that expired June 30, with 3% annual raises tied to performance.
